so i finally saw miro today. it's been months. i had to fight so hard from running over and tackling him.

i love him. so much. i'm fucking bawling right now. i was so awkward and stupid the whole time we hung out cause i was trying so hard to restrain myself from hanging all over him. god i missed him.

i guess i wish he would display more affection towards me. but i know, he's not into affection and relationships and whatever. i missed him so much. it was so hard trying to be low key to keep from weirding him out.

im scared im not gonna get to spend that much time with him before i leave again.

Not in my experience. They make it very clear they like me, then I explain to them I don't feel that way, and they hate me. That's the way it happens for me. If I DO like them, then they never say anything. I don't know if it's because they don't like me or because they don't know because I have "I act opposite of how I feel" syndrome to avoid people seeing the real me!

Anyhow, guys can't be friends with girls. That's really all there is to it.

Every guy friend I've ever had has tried to split completely after he finally was told or realized it wasn't gonna happen.

Thanks for that. Does this mean that we're not friends? This is a very depressing thread.

I have a great guy friend, but he's gay. :)

It was a strange situation. We were housemates for a year and we got along really well. Earlier this year I started crushing on him. I ask him out, he tells me that I need to be ok with the fact that he's bi (I was actually the first of his friends that he told, he was just opening up to that side of him). We date for a month, he figures out that he's gay. We brake up. We're still good friends.

I disagree!
I have about an equal number of male to female friends, and usually I don't start having a crush on any of the guys. They're like brothers who encourage bad behaviour!

I can agree though, that you can't ever rule out stuff with a guy friend. Even if you make yourself clear....
Its awkward.

I think there's always going to be sexual tension between two people who are oriented towards the other's gender. I don't mean attraction, necessarily, just tension.
