Tomorrow I am going to buy my tickets to go see Alkaline Trio in New Jersey. It's official, I am going to New Jersey, America's hellhole. At least I get to see a bunch of nifty bands while I'm there!
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Alex: You missed a mark here.
Chem Teacher From Hell: Oh here, I'll fix that. But this remark [Alex, you could do MUCH better] still stands.
Alex: Oh? And why did people who got one mark higher than me get positive remarks?
CTFH: Just because I wanted to kick you in the butt.
Somebody please tell me why this asshole hasn't been fired yet?!?!!?!?

Highschool teachers in my district are begining "Phase One" of their strike.
They're pissed off because they're earning squat compared to private school teachers and because they're being forced to do a bunch of extra work (between classes, before and after school hours, etc [kind of like homework!
]).
So, Phase One has begun. They are now arriving to the school at 8:15am (school starts at 8:30) and leaving at 3:00pm (school ends at 2:45). They have stopped doing any extra planning/marking outside of school hours. Oh, and all after-school activities (sports, etc) are being cancelled while the strike is on.
This is aimed to piss off students who are going to miss out on the extras that they would usually get (such as sports and geting marked stuff back withing a reasonable time period), who will then go home and complain to their parents, who then might take the initiative to complain to the school, which gives the teachers support in the strike.
It's not a bad plan. But I'm still wating for them to get to the phase where I don't have to go to school.

Hmmm... well, I'm still at that hotel thingy, but right now Cain and Nick are over. (Nick is one of Cain's friends who is really cool... He went to this high school called Tallwood and in his city, Virginia Beach, they also had a school called Cox... so I kept teasing him that Tallwood beats Cox) Cain and I are somewhat looking for an apartment in Buffalo... He's worried that something will happen to me because I called the police, so he doesn't want me to be alone. So I guess everything will be okay.
Oooh, I have this awesome school project where I get to create my own school... and everything is Conan involved!!! The school's name will be Triumph (after the dog!!!) and the mascot will be Moleculo (the MOLECULAR MAN!). The floor plan is going to be in the shape of Conan O'Brien's head... LOL! It's gonna be GOOD. (Nick helped me come up with all of this stuff. It's gold!)

Mechanical Thought wrote::lol: is that from when Conan was on SNL?
YUP!!!
I'm a Conan junkie!!!
I have that episode on tape. I loved that Napster sketch where he was that guy who sang "I'm Too Sexy For My Shirt" and the judge is like "Wow, you've really let yourself go." and then the judge was like "Now why do YOU have a complaint?! It says here your song has been downloaded...twice"
