Hello,
I thought the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre would like to know that the Canadian singer/songwriter Matthew Good is currently planning a tour of small to mid-sized venues in Canada in the late spring and early summer. Mr. Good successfully performed at the Performing Arts centre last year, and had a large turnout.
There are many young people in the Okanagan who would like to see this talented and relevant artist perform once again at the Performing Arts Centre. I feel you would sell sufficient tickets to benefit from him coming to Vernon.
Not only is Mr. Good a popular musician, he also is an ardent supporter of Amnesty International and its fight against human rights violations. Like Angelique Kidjo, who performed at the Performing Arts Centre this month, he has been known to set up displays at his concerts to help spread the word of this extremely important cause.
As someone who regularly enjoys both the many varieties of quality entertainment the Centre has to offer, and Matthew Good's work, I would urge you to contact his management to see if Vernon can once again appreciate Mr. Good's music.
His management can be reached at
mail@berniebreen.com
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Yannic Wolfe

well in almost matt good news:
The Febuary's are opening for Limblifter now! Does anyone else remeber the link matt threw up on his site to a guys song. He said he had been a fan for years and years, and now had a song, so matt put it up for him. Looks like Matt must have liked it enough to get them hooked up with his good buddy Ryan Dahle of Limblifter. Awesome!
By the way does anyone have any of The Febuary's music? I loved what i heard

i saw them last night open for limblifter, really cool show. they looked a little out of place on stage but for a band that hasnt had much performing experience they did very well
there is a few songs on here to download including a completed version of the song that was on matt's site

Also in the process of being announced is a rather ambitious tour, chances are Matt and co. will be stopping by your neck of the woods so make note of the tour dates posted if you're interested

I hope "ambitious" means international and stopping in England

are they sure they should be saying it is 'ambitious'?
"Ambition throws a nonperishable item in the donation bin at christmas and pats itself on the fucking back because it thinks it's done somehting decent."

Ambition's like riding a unicycle over a dental floss tightrope over a wilderness of razorblades.
Still, I hope the tightrope leads to Europe
