Because of Ash Wednesday... it's some sort of Catholic tradition. Don't ask me- I'm Jewish.

lol this little girl walked into my class yesterday with ash on her forehead but being the "devout" catholic i am i had no idea it was ash wednesday so i freaked out and was like "omg, what happened to your head?!" haha she gave me a weird look...
