thanksgiving dinner is the best. This year was different, since I dont indulge in meat any more. I feel guilty now, my mom made me a big ass bowl of stuffing

aww, my family didn't have thanksgiving dinner this year, they just went to the cottage and left me here with a packet of soup
but saturday i went to the bf's and turkey and mashed potatoes and vegetables and cherry pie. ok so i only had mashed potatoes, but it's the thought that counts.

happeningfish wrote:haha. that happened with our camp shirts a couple years ago. this bitch that everyone hated got put in charge cause she could draw and she drew the STUPIDEST picture and then, of the two slogans we were trying to choose between, everyone wanted slogan A but she decided to meld A and B together even though we told her it was retarded but she did it ANYWAY and the shirts are CRAPPY and I have NEVER worn mine in public. Of course just to rub it in, the other flight had kickass shirts. I hate them. I hate her. I'm still bitter.
OMG i can feel your pain.
really, she wants it to be the official one that comes from the Josten company which is like "Seniors: we rule because we can" which, I don't know if she's blind, but it's RETARDED. AHHHHHHH.
but it's okay, we're voting tomorrow and everyone pretty much wants the cool one.

Ummm, yeah, I have some news for ya buddy. There's a reason why they call it "stuffing." People take the bread and celery and the whatnots in the "stuffing" and "stuff" it into the turkey. It cooks in the juices of said turkey, which greatly impedes on your vegetarianism, because you're eating runoffs from a turkey. Hah, you're a failure at being a vegetarian.

You don't have to put in in the turkey these days.

i read that as he was guilty cause his mom made him a big bowl of stuffing that he couldn't eat. i'm probably wrong though.
alan - your need to embellish on other peoples' failures amuses me

Hey, shut up, I know I am a failure damnit. I just like to point out when people are being those holier than thou vegans and what not, then completely go back on their food belief system and eat meat by-products. I like it.

I've read three posts by you in the last few minutes, Alan, and all of them have been a little snappy. Is something up?

... actually while that's entirely possible it's not necessarily true. my family makes stuffing every year and we're all a bunch of vegetarians. it doesn't necessarily have to be cooked that way.

I have to memorize 7 pages of Oedipus Rex today, it's going to be oodles of fun.
Unless this play gives me some sort of complex.
Guess who I am in it. Go on, guess.

im thinking of becoming a vegetarian. it's gonna be hard though. my dad says he doesn't recommend it, and i'm gonna need to make different food at supper every day than the rest of my family as we always have meat.
