I'm about to order Supergrass's greatest hits. And probably something by Belle & Sebastian too since I need to get up to date with their stuff - either Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like a Peasant or Dear Catastrophe Waitress.

How is that one? I've been thinking about getting something from them.

It's pretty good, but from my initial listenings to it, Erika Hoffman (female vocalist lady) uses way too many effects on her vocals, and it really diminishes everything Fred Thomas writes and plays.
If you want to check out Saturday Looks Good To Me, you really should look into getting "All Your Summer Songs" first. It's their best album, hands down. Fred Thomas' musical ideas remind me of a mix of Stephin Merritt (Magnetic Fields) and Phil Spector (genius producer).
In other words, if you like rock music with a motown feel to it, get something by Saturday Looks Good To Me.
