even under the circumstances of rape, that doesn't change the fact that there's a life inside of you .. or at least i believe that there's a tiny life inside of you pretty much right away, though other people will deny that. give the baby up for adoption if you can't or don't want to take care of it .. there are millionaires of people out there who can't have kids who won't take such a precious life for granted.

I used to think differently about abortion, but after seeing this movie I realize how inhumane it is to kill a fetus.

how anyone can look at that and still think abortion is right ...

i just don't see how anyone could ever do something like that..

when it comes to my meat eating friends etc, i still respect their decisions and it doesn't bother me .. but to be honest, if any of my friends or family members ever had an abortion i really don't think i could ever look at them the same way again. maybe that makes me a horrible person, but yeah

I dont want to sound like an evil person, but that picture doesnt change my opinion at all. I still think its a personal choice whether or not to have an abortion.

To me yes, and I think abortion should be considered murder so those who commit them will be held accountable regardless of what they think.

But with absolute regard to what You think? In the free world that We so gladly live in, everyones opinion matters, as long as what they do stays inside the law.

Killing anyone is wrong and should be against the law. Born or unborn. I don't understand how we can use this rationale. If it's a choice to kill your own child, shouldn't you have enough reason to use protection? To never put yourself in that situation? Sure, protection doesn't always work, but the amount of instances are probably miniscule in comparison to the amount of abortions performed each year.

What about if someone has an abortion because they find out that the baby has some kind of disease or problem that will mean it's going to die not long after it's born and it will spend its life in pain?

Or if it's suspected that by having the baby it can risk the mother's life? Or both lives for that matter.

Both of those reasons account for a very small percentage of abortions. If you believe that aborting a child is destroying a life, than eliminating abortion would be saving far more lives than the lives it may put in risk. Saving the lives of a few cannot justify the massacre of many.

Well I don't know how we could govern those instances. But this is what I beleive. It's God's will when things go wrong with the development of a baby (unless you did something to it), and it's God's will to have them live. It's not your choice to end it just because of that. Now don't jump all over me for that because I have severe disabilities in my family and I know exactly how hard it is for everyone involved. When it is a risk to the mother, and the baby could live, if it was me, I would have it and gladly die for my child. This would be really hard though if you were the sole provider and had other children, but you just have to trust in God. And for both the Mother and child dying, I would say that an abortion would be ok if it absolutely certain that neither would live.

Both of the instances mentioned above .. the baby having a disease for example or finding out that by giving birth the mom could die are more then likely 2 things you wouldn't find out until it's WAY too late for an abortion anyway, which just makes it that much more horrible because you KNOW there's a little person inside of you.

The first ultrasound isn't done until you're 20 weeks pregnant .. that's standard. By 20 weeks is also when you're going to start feeling those first movements .. so you wouldn't know until then whether that baby has a disease. Same with the mother risking her life or the babies life by giving birth .. that's a risk EVERY woman takes when she gives birth, you never know what could go wrong .. neither of those things would really be discovered within the first 20 weeks.

Besides let's face it .. every talk show you turn on is about teenage girls sleeping around and ooops getting pregnant .. abortion has become a means of birth control and that's what is disgusting.

and sure it's tough if you find out your child might have a life altering disability .. does that change the fact there's still a life inside of you? No, nobody has the right to terminate their child's life because it may not be perfect.
