The only reason I said I was disappointed is because if you have much music and have watched all the olp specials religiously then you've pretty much already seen this dvd .. the live concert special was on not that long ago and most of the behind the scenes footage was aired before too .. yes there was some new footage and the 3 live videos I hadn't seen before but that's it ... so yeah, that's why I'm disappointed, I just wish there had been MORE new stuff .. and like I said earlier, I wish they had included Mike E in the video, that's all

It was in London last September and they were half way through 4am when the fire alarm went off. I so can't wait to see the DVD now

You guys are scaring me now with the DVD problems. I live in the States. I had them ship it to my friend in Canada who will send it to me. Now I wonder if I should tell her to watch near Birdman and let me know how it plays. BTW, It came autographed and I think I ordered end of Oct.

Did you also see what it is going for in the states through AMazon-$26 and that is on sale. I am sure Best Buy will have it for cheaper. I can't wait to get the U2 DVD next week.

What U2 dvd are we talking about? Is this a new one? Cause if so I am going to die if I don't get it. Seriously, I will DIE!

I already know that OLP's dvd won't be THAT amazing. BUT, it's OLP, and I will be excited out of my mind no matter what.

The best music dvd I have is Incubus: Morning View. :drool:

Every concert should be more intimate like that.

Ahhh...the DVD was only $20 at Future Shop??? That's where were headed right after I bought it at HMV for $21.99 since my sister wanted to get the Mary J.Blige CD (which was only $10 at FS). Not that $1.99 is such a big difference...but still. :roll:

I understand how some people would be disappointed with the DVD because it was advertised so much this year. They had the live CD which is basically the exact same thing as the DVD and they aired part of the show on Much and all those other stations. However, there's a lot of extra things which made it worth it. Let's see...Right Behind You, In Repair (I'm SO glad they played those songs at the concert), Raine's explanation of how "Whatever" was Chris Benoit's theme, the making of the DVD, OLP on tour and the rest of the extra features. I really liked how they showed clips of different shows they played this past year (summer?). I also noticed that unlike the live CD, Montreal wasn't mentioned at all in the DVD...it was all about Edmonton.

Which makes me happy 'cause I did attend that show and it brings back a lot of memories. I can still point out which songs were done in Edmonton... :nod:

I agree. When I it got to that song, I was still in shock that song made it on the DVD. I almost forgot it was on the setlist! That song sounds so amazing live. If there's a reason to buy the DVD, it's "In Repair". That song is so worth it!

I sooooo need this DVD. Apparently I'm in it twice (though you'd only know if you knew where I was standing for a couple of shows) and there are a couple of clips from other shows I was at. The extra features must have loads of shows in them!
