In my school, classes all have their own scheduled period (1 to 5) and day (1 and 2).
So depending upon which classes you pick, they get put onto your schedule according to when the class goes, so you could have a 1st period spare and not have to come in until quarter to ten, or a 5th period spare and get to go home early.

We have the five 75 minute periods as well. But only one day. You have one lunch for half the year, then it changes in semester two. You can have a second, third, fourth or fifth period lunch. I have had last period three out of four times.

Susan has two days because her school is non-semestered. It's a year-long conglomeration of both semesters and it's CRAZY!

1 of those periods is lunch (It used to be either 3rd or 4th, except this coming year I think everyone will have the same lunch, 3rd period . Grr, that's gonna be chaotic. )

i think i'd die if i had the early or late spare and had to sit through four classes in a row.

My school screwed up mine...and is now on a month system. We switch classes every month...its weird but hey thats my school.

First period: Biology.

Me: First day of school and I've already got a girl's phone number! Yeah!



(she gives her number to her grade 12 classes for when we need help on stuff, or need to talk about missing a test, etc...)


Second period: Philosophy

Mr L: Some day, you'll get in a car crash and lose your legs.
Me: Bastard.
Mr L: Yeah. *mimics using wheelchair angrily* Damn you, Lalonde!

later...

Mr L: And what if you're driving around? What if you think 'Why shouldn't I just drive into that other lane? Right into that oncoming traffic."
Me: ...and that's when we'll lose our legs.


Fourth period: English

Ms D: We'll be using the bible this year as comparisons to ways that other pieces are based on it. For example, Star Wars is all based on the bible.
Me (to friend next to me): Yeah. I hear Jesus had a green lightsabre.

Ms D: How many of you here would think of yourselves as conformists?
*half the class raises their hands*
Ms D: How many think of yourselves as non-conformists?
*other half raises hands, I don't raise mine for either*
Me (to friend next to me): I'm a non-conformist. I refuse to raise my hand like the rest of you.

i had the best first-day last semester.

I walked into my biology class late and sat down in the one remaining desk at the back of the class... three minutes later out loud: "what the hell? i'm not supposed to be in here." then i walked out thinking it was the wrong period and everybody laughed at me. as soon as i stepped out the door i realized it was the right period and i was supposed to be in that class, so i walked back in thirty seconds later while my teacher was up at the front talking and said "sorry miss i'm lost" and sat down. I still havent heard the end of it from my friends.

then there was the time i fell backwards down the stairs while getting off my bus....

i don't get my schedual to thursday and it is the day i go back to school

my schedule sucks ass. i'm in one class room with the same dude for like 6 hours on tuesdays. it's easy i guess, but still it sucks ass.

My schedule's fucked, 'cuz it only gives me 3 classes for one semester - Gym, Science, and Band.

Talking to my grade "counsellor" in about a week, 'cuz there's a total overflow of shitty schedules, and we all (meaning all gr.10s in the school) know it. So, until then, I get a three hour break between classes.

How the hell could someone mess up a schedule that badly?
