When I saw Dashboard the year before, he hardly did any singing at all. The crowd did his job. That really turned me off of Dashboard.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Jesus Christ, can you not read? It is fine if you sing, as long as Chris sings. Jesus, get it in your head. I don't like it when the crowd sings and the lead singer does not. How many times do I have to say this before you understand?

i completely get what your saying alan.. thats the problem with the dvd he lets the crowd sing way too much.. i don't care if the crowd sings, but honestly don't turn it over to them for every song, or a whole song... i would like to hear the artist sing... if i wanted to hear a bunch of people sing... i would organize a big dashboard sing along

I still have to go pick up the new one... I didn't realize it came with a DVD, so I guess thats even mor of an incentive to get it.

Everyone, be prepared to laugh at this.
Chris Carrabba is on the cover of the new Spin Magazine, and he has a fucking mohawk. Last time I checked, he's about as punk as Avril Lavigne. That is all.

it's just a hair cut... I don't think he's claiming to be punk.

When you think mohawk, it's usually not associated to acoustic lovesick ballads. That's all I have to say about that.

I don't associate it with anything. Oops wait not true, I associate it with a haircut. A risky haircut at that!

my fave would, most definitely, be "Ghost of a good thing". that song FRIGGIN' ROCKS.
"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

But remember when Raine had that ugly ass mohawk?

he didn't actually cut his hair into a mohawk, its just the way he has it gelled.
btw, that is one hella weird pic of him huh.
