*sigh* Well, now I'm gonna kill any kind of music credibility you guys may have thought I had. Hahah. But...

I must say, I like Nick Carter's first single (haven't heard the rest of the album). I also like The Backstreet Boys... and Nsync, for that matter. While I hate everything behind the music (especially the fact that it's, for the most part, meaningless... I'm sure some of the old guys who wrote the songs for them meant *some* of the stuff they said... haha), it's catchy and fun to dance to. Plus the guys can sing. Listen to anything a cappella by either group. Seriously. They've got beautiful voices.

But, this thread's about Nick Carter. And, well, I wanted to say that, Jacqui, I too saw that Leno performance... BWAHAHAHAHAH!! That was probably the funniest thing I ever saw. He seriously thinks he's tough.

So, yeah, in summary, I hate the crap behind boy bands (as well as all the other manufactured pop groups/singers out there), and the guys themselves are pretty laughable at times, but the music can be quite good if you just try to forget all of that stuff.

i agree 100% with Nikki. I actually like BSB ( I even went to a concert) :P and Nsync... I wasn't too big on them when they were first came out cause of the fact that they didn't write their own songs but i must admit i have all BSB albums and Nsync's last two and as for Nick Carter his new songs are ok but just like Justin Timberlake hes trying to be something hes not. Nick=trying to be all rockish and Justin= trying to be all hip hopish. Eh! Its ok but they were both better in groups. Just my two cents. I'm going now.....
