Oh and the show is part of a Q101 special concert series so maybe they'll broadcast it live?

I really hope that if they do this, where and whenever it happens, someone will be willing to record it. I should be able to provide audio equipment.

I agree. I was watching the Live DVD yesterday and thinking the same thing. It's so amazing. The whole performance aspect of it. I know they try to record their cds as live as possible but it will never be quite the same. They really feed off the audience in concert and you just can't get that interaction in a studio.
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

I get the feeling they are going to do CD shows in small places for Canada..

yeah, apparently they did. i brought back my copy to future shop after the "recall" and they exchanged it for me. the new copy i got was still messed up so i didn't bother going back again. sooo annoying. i've only watched it once cause it bothers me so much hah.

Same thing here, exchanged it for a copy with the same exact problem. Never got my hand on a synced version. :o(

MindsOnLoan wrote:Someone counted them up, and although I haven't checked it, these are the reported results so far:

1) Spiritual Machines (171)
2) Clumsy (126)
3) Happiness... Is Not A Fish That You Can Catch (121)
4) Gravity (92)
5) Naveed (74)
6) Burn Burn (45)
7) Healthy in Paranoid Times (16)

Obviously it is not up-to-date anymore but that someone would be me. I was really bored at the time. So I went through the posts on there and counted every single answer given. I did include indecisive answers since many seem to not really mind if its any of the first 4 albums.

I'm still thinking Naveed is a good choice. My younger sister on the other hand, she would probably go for Happiness... I got her hooked on OLP

Shit I should have been paying closer attention to the CM (and Facebook)! Awesome thread!!! I would kill to see an old album played live in its entirety!! And it'd be great if it could be more than just one concert... instead a whole tour!

Anyway, hard choice, but I'm going with Spiritual Machines too. I was going to go Happiness, but we've heard so, so, SO little from SM lately that we need it to be SM. And the 10th anniversary doesn't hurt either!

SM tour, SM tour, SM tour!!!!!!!

Agree here, I'd go for the Playlist album if possible. All the greats from all albums.

Hmm... OLP usually plays around 18-song sets, and this would be 10. Feel free to play La Bra and A Waste of Violence, guys.

Just kidding. The ten songs would be epic enough. But if you were inclined to include them, I would just have to suck it up and not argue one bit.

In that Podcast interview, Steve mentioned something about not going out and doing the usual places in Canada...maybe a Canadian Club tour like they did ten years ago? That'd be sweet, too..
