yeah he doesn't do so good in the rain apparently (or snow)... you should have heard some of the new year's performances... Starseed was brutal

Only Superman's Dead sounds horrendous. The rest was solid, especially Denied, from what I've seen.

I agree completely. I think what started as a perceived "change" in Raine's voice (since Gravity) has actually been the gradual decline in his vocal abilities. It's only now that it's really starting to effect his singing abilities.

It's not the end of the world, though. OLP will simply have to learn how to operate within that new constraint (ie. focus on thought-provoking lyrics and creative instrumentals rather then trying to highlight Raine's vocal range). The only downfall will be that, eventually, we may have to say goodbye to hearing live performances of vocally-demanding classics like "Superman's Dead" and "One Man Army". But even that has an upside, since it will open the door to us potentially hearing quite a few new "oldies" played live that are less vocally demanding.

Monkey Brains sounded great, but I agree that OMA and especially Superman's Dead was disappointing.

As for Raine's voice. Most shows or early shows when groups go on tour are not realy the best. I always call those shows the real soundchecks. I am sure by the time they get here he will sound fine.

Raine voice has changed a bit over the years..

That was fucking awesome! I really hope they keep bringing back older songs. They don't need to play EVERY hit EVERY show.

I also kind of liked this version of In Repair. Some of Steve's solo's seemed like Apology meets In Repair.
