nash shouldve stayed at home
i dont care
he isnt nearly 100%
you think a non-100% nash or a defensive draper are better off on the team over a guy like spezz, staal or crosby are gonna somehow help the team score on a hot goalie?

im not disagreeing, Spezza and Staal should be on the team (Crosby i will disagree with)
but either way, this is a team thats still got Thornton, Sakic, Heatley, Iginla, Doan, Bert, Gagne

its not as if they are low on guys who know how to put the puck in the net

and i dont think Draper was really a bad choice, he's just not getting a chance to be utilized properly

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

i dont think bert should be there either
same with st. louis heh..
those guys havent been doing great this season at all

as for my argument for the inclusion of crosby... sid has amazing vision on the ice, when you have the amount of room that the olympic ice has and the speed that guys like doan, sakic, heat, spezz, etc bring to the table you'd change the dynamic of the game in a hurry against something like the left-wing lock
go fuck yourself.

i think the reason they went with the picks they did is because its almost identical to the world cup team

and in such a short period of time the team that plays the best together the quickest has a very good chance of winning

Half a bee, philosophically, must ipso facto half not be, but half the bee has got to be, viz a viz its entity. D'you see? But can a bee be said to be or not to be an entire bee when half the bee is not a bee due to some ancient injury?

Well like i said before i dont at all disagree with the fact that Spezza should have been picked

no matter what people will question their picks
if its, what about Karyia, or Shanahans be really good, the obvious Spezza, Staal, Crosby thing, people also asked why not Phaneuf

I dunno... they wouldn't be bad, but you could replace all 3 of them with just Richard Dean Anderson.

He'd invent some MacGyver shit and it would get Canada 400 goals in the first period alone.

Yeah it would! It would take away the spots that the old guys deserve before they get too old to have another shot at the gold.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! *Throws his shoe at huge nikki* She'll kill us all, run you fools!

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

So now we sit around on the couch and watch TV
And we see Wendel leading the team
Well, if God made Clark on the seventh day,
He knew what He was doing if He did!
(IF HE DID!)

Wendel was the man with a stick in his hands
He learned how to play in Kelvington S-A-S-K
You'll wish that you had died when Wendel has your hide
'Cause he does it the Canadian waayyy!

Women's hockey gold medal game today at 2:30 EST: Canada vs. Sweden. I'm going to have to plan my day so that I'm in the office caf (with big screen tvs) during the 3rd period of this game ;)
