Okay, now that I'm about halfway through the second volume, I find myself less and less interested in Frankenstein. My first impression was that the letters and Victor's narrative were a lengthy (though interesting) preamble to the main bulk of the story. Not so, apparently. Like you said, Rusty, I definitely get the significance of everything that's going on, but it's not told in a very engaging way. I'm relying on Sparknotes more and more (read sparknotes, scan text, repeat).

Thats the same way I found Dracula.

It was wicked cool and all scary and shit and then that ended. Then something happened with a boat...and a dog or something. Yeah I gave up reading it. :lol:
