After a lot of thinking, i decided to purchase a pair of tickets off of ebay for $200. I feel like an idiot for spending more than 100 times the face value of the tickets.
But the way i rationalized it is, is that my next opportunity to see them in Toronto, I'll probably pay $35 per ticket plus $10 for ticketmaster. So all together, i'd probably spend about $90 for a pair of tickets to see OLP play at a big arena (ACC?). I'd gladly spend double the money to see them at a tiny club instead of huge arena. I'd had set aside $200 to buy U2 tickets at the ACC and the truth is, i would rather spending that money with my fellow CMer's enjoying the music of Our Lady Peace.
PS-I hope that OLP extend the setlist to more than the 12 songs that they have been playing lately. Please give the fans of T.O. an hour and half show. We deserve it. I'd love to hear Love and Trust, Apology, and Al Genina added to the setlist.
