This thread's been an interesting read for me. Honestly. I'd never been exposed to this kind of personal information before.

I've tried to have conversations like this with guys around, and typically they try to change the subject or run away.
Oh yeah, or make jokes.

Strange. I could dive into a bunch of highly personal questions at this point but i think i'll refrain

But just so you know, if... other... things are painful, there's surgery to fix that.

No? Maybe you should meet some of my friends.
"Hey Russell. Guess what. I went to the Gyno today."
"Erm, grand?"
"Yeah I had a pap smear done *great detailed explanation of
exactly what happened* it really hurt."
"I see."
*conversation continues*

Ok, if you have a prescription and you go into London Drugs and you're all like, here's the prescription and such, and then they're like, come back in 5-10 and all that and um....well point of question: do you have to pay? like, i'm assuming the shot isn't free, but do I have to pay london drugs when I pick it up?
oh and also, do you have to have id when you get drugs? i mean, anyone could go get anyone's medicine if you didnt. the only other experience i've had at the pharmacy was yesterday, but the pharmasist knows me, so she just said hi yannic and took the paper...

alex that diagram was a lil freaky

tampons are so much easier and convinient for life but at first i was freaked about by the whole toxic syndrome thingymagicything.

yeah they scare you with that but it mostly happens to really confused women who leave them in for days at a time

I used a tampon the first time I got one, I have actually never worn a pad and I'm glad. I can't even imagine wearing those things around. I don't even like liners.
And yes, any guy that can take this is awesome, but there are more around than you'd think. I've had this conversation with guys before, they seem intrigued.

I don't know about Canada... but for us, you just have a prescription, and you can get the drugs. My mom picks up my grandparents meds all the time, and she no longer has the same last name as them or anything.
And about the paying thing... yes, you pay the drugstore for the drugs they supply you with.

ya I've read this whole thread... just don't have much of anything to contribute so that explains my silence up until now.

I had to show i.d the first time I picked up drugs from the drug store. Not sure if that's because of my benefits though and they just wanted to make sure it was me. I had to show my drivers license and my benefits card from work. After that first time though they never asked me again. You have to pay when you pick up the drugs too
Drug dealers don't like it when you just take the drugs and run

i know this is super late, but i went on the pill because i used to get really, really bad cramps. they were so bad that i would pass out from the pain. since i've been on the pill, i still get minor cramps, but nothing like the painful cramps i got before.
and i agree with all the anti-tampon girls. i think i'm scared of toxic shock syndrome. or the string breaking and having the tampon stuck inside me forever and getting all gross.

Hurrah for anti-tampon girls!
