detriot and the dolphins are my favorite teams, so i hope that they do good. i like them old school lions uniforms, the only old school uniformsi like. solid blue and solid grey.

ive always been a fan of frank deford
he has a good head on his shoulders and such
as a fan of the "home team" or "home country" or whatever everyone is guilty of this kinda thing but i do find the american sports media is worse than the cbc has been in previous years (in terms of olympic coverage, although NBC got better)
where do i come up with these claims?
simple
ive been watching the olympics for years, as a kid who grew up with a tennis crazy dad and cousins who played a lot, ive always watched and followed the sport, since they give ink to the best players from around the world... (unfortunately tsn just picked up espn/usa's coverage so all i got to see was whatever american player was playing regardless of skill/excitement/worthiness of the match (unless as deford mentioned it was sharapova/kournikova heh)
personally, i'd rather watch a sporting event between 2 equally matched and equally talented atheletes fighting it out for the win to the bitter end regardless of where they are from... i dont care if im watching 2 kids from some country/island ive never heard of if they can play. usa/espn tend to show the blowout between #86th ranked american taking on the #24304824394283042384 ranked kid from new zealand and it sucks. haha

nah. detroit wins game seven, then takes the Spurs in seven too
and i get the privilage of hearing my friend bitch about wade's injury for the next year or so. He still hasn't gotten over the Lakers losing last year, and he honestly claims "If Malone was healthy the lakers would have won"
what a load of bs.
