I got wristbands!!!! I was so excited, I live in mississauga and the wristbands were all gone in about 3 hours so it would have been impossible for me to get wristbands, but b/c I go to school in toronto and I was downtown early for my 9:00am class I was able to run down to the edge @ 8:00am before class to get a wristband!!!

I just went back now and they are all out of wristbands, but the guy did say that they might be giving out some more tickets next Tuesday even if you don't have a wristband....

but I have a wristband and I'm so overly excited and just can't believe how much I lucked out today!!! I can't wait till next tuesday and more importantly till NOV. 1ST!!! I so badly need this concert!!! and the guy told me that it will be general admission on floor seats, but I have no idea how they are gonna work that out....

Today has been such an awesome day. First, i got OLP wristbands. Then, when i got to school, i went to calculus, and i got 82% on a test i thought i failed.

I got down to the edge at about 9:00am. I had to get there all the way from Thornhill. I left at like 7:45 and i took me over an hour to get there cause it was rush hour. But it all worked out cause i got my wristbands :mrgreen:

oh yeah, and Theo, the thing at the edge is at 7:30am. So OLP can probably do both, i think....

To anyone who didn't get wristbands, i suggest joining the inside edge on www.edge102.com cause i have a feeling they might give away tickets there too.

Wow, speaking of the inside edge, i just won tix to see Reel Big Fish. Wow, today has been a total awesome day for winning stuff. First olp, now reel big fish. :mrgreen:

Jo, they don't have any contests for olp on the inside edge yet, but just keep checking back and they might just have one sooner or later.

oh yeah, i suggest that you all join the cc if you wanna ticket. cause, like with the inside edge, i have a feeling they are gonna be giving them away on the cc too. These are just predictions, so don't get mad at me if you don't get tickets. I'm just trying to help the best i can.

they also said ourladypeace.com is giving away lots of tix and im guessing ourladypeace.net will give away their usual 10 pairs or more (probarly more for this show) so join there too.

i SO thought i wouldnt. i was at my DADS, which is at high park. it takes me about 40 minutes to get to school, and i though that would be too late :neutral:

BUT ALAS!! as SOON as i heard, i literally FLEW out of my house. i was gone by the time raine sang "lennon and cobain". i forgot a LOT of stuff, but oh well. i RAN to the subway, paced impatiently IN the subway, ran OUT of the subway, and into the building. there was a lineup of like 4 people i ran into it AND I GOT A WRISTBAND

i was at school (ON TIME AT THAT) and i was sitting at my table, when my friend walks up to me, says "how much do you love me?" and THROWS A WRISTBAND AT ME!!!!!!!!! so... i sort of have 2. lol. but when he found out i got my own, hes keeping his (although im wearing both till then) and we're gonna go together with 2 other ppl! WASNT THAT NICE OF HIM?! HE WENT, JUST TO GET ME TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you have to TRY!! you wouldnt believe how easy things are to get. you think its impossible, but really, its not. i got snowjam tickets, swollen members wristbands, and olp tickets all in a month

Aww...i thought this was the Canadian tour! Oh well, you guys are sooo lucky! OLP haven't been anywhere near Ottawa in 2 years now...grrrr..must wait out Canadian tour...

Well this fuckin sucks. I choose one weekend to keep myself occupied and not come on here, and don't even listen to the radio, and this happens. I didn't know about it till all the wristbands were gone, and now I'm not gonna get to see OLP. And I've never seen them live. Me, the guy with no money, had the perfect chance, considering that next time I probably won't have money. And I blew it. Congratulations Brent.

Edit: To make this day even worse, this is the second time I had to post this message. The first time, right before I finished, the power went out. :mad:

They are still giving out tix you know. They just gave out 500 pairs today. that's it. They still have thousands to give away. Don't lose hope.
