Post by mookie91 »

I'm going to Rochester 8/12 and am wondering if there is a web page to find setlists? :crying:

They should do what Weezer are doing on their current tour. They let a computer randomize the set lists from a group of about 30-40 songs and the set list comes out to 18 songs long. A little variety would definatley make the shows better. Maybe on the next leg of the tour.

Wow, props to Weezer. That's an awesome idea. OLP has so many songs that a lot of the greats ones(blister, stealing babies) are missed in an effort to include all the singles and much of the new album. I have real good solution thought up for this. Each concert should be about 5 hours long....let them play ALL the songs!

thats pretty interesting...but then u get some of the essentials left out...i have a friend who went to the houston show and she said they didnt even play undone or say it ain't so. thats just not right. im all for playing smaller known stuff and changing the concert up night in and night out, but when stuff like that gets left out...i just dunno...

i went to a 3eb show in august of 2000 and they did something i thought was really cool. they set up a few computers in the plaza area for people to go and vote for a song that normally doesnt get played live and the winning song got played in the middle of the set. i think maybe the top 2 or 3 shouldve been played just to spice things up a little, but still i thought it was a great idea.

OLP couldn't do something like that yet. It will be a while before Steve and Mike learn enough songs.

weezer still made sure they played at least a few singles. So if they had Steve and Mike learn about 10 new songs that dont get played much and play 3 each show that would be really cool.

According to a fan on AG olp played Carnival and Julia at the July 20th show .. I really wish they had played Julia when I saw them on the 11th :( I've only heard that song live once and that was way back in 1998 .. I LOVE that song

They played both Julia and Carnival when i saw them in Buffalo, March'01... Julia was pretty awesome, Carnival i dont really remember much about but Julia really rocked...

you know what they should do? try and make Potato Girl a lil harder so it would fit well in their shows... that would be pretty cool, like its already an awesome song but it's too quiet i think to be a regular... especially with Steve he could do a great job of changing it

Did they play the slow piano version of Julia or just the regular version?
