My favorite album! So many good songs!! However, my favorite song is probably an outlier: Everyone's a Junkie. The bass line is AMAZING, I love the seemingly straightforward lyrics, but some ambiguity thrown in ("But I'm really not that different / You just made me think so"... is that a positive? negative?). I could see every song (minus the R.K. tracks ) receiving votes on this album.
I voted for In Repair, but I've always loved Everyone's a Junkie. I was at the Summersault show in Vancouver back in 2000 when they debuted it (along with Life), and I always have memories of that when I listen.
I chose All My Friends for this one. The build to the second chorus still gives me chills. Really In Repair and Wonderful Future do too. But All My Friends really captures this feeling of impending doom to me which I think is really unique in the OLP library.
This is probably the only album where I like all of the songs. Actually, I love all of them. I think In Repair is probably the most well-written and produced of the bunch.
This is my favorite album. Honestly, it saved me. In Repair holds the most meaning for me so I chose that, but I could have easily gone with any other song, especially The Wonderful Future. The only song I absolutely hated on this album was Life. I don't think it fits with the vibe of the album, and musically and lyrically it's boring. I know a lot of people go crazy over it, but I seriously hate it. I skip it whenever it comes on
