So... after feeling very envious of all my Canadian friends all week I'm seriously considering coming to this show.

I was already hoping to (someday) go on a vacation to Seattle + Victoria with my fiancee, and my contract at work is expiring the same week of these shows so I wouldn't even need to worry about vacation days.

The venue sure looks nice:

go. I am coming out for it but will get tickets later. You and K can stay with me in Victoria. It will be beautiful that time of year. I want to see Butchart gardens again and have high tea at the Empresss hotel.. I can not do Vancouver cause I work.

I'm still not 100% sure I am going, but I bought a ticket for each show on the general sale in case I come.

2nd best seat in the house for Spiritual Machines -- can absolutely not complain about that! This would actually be my 2nd time seeing OLP in Victoria from front row center. (Thanks again for 2006 Matt from Seattle!!!)

Yeah. Since the tickets are being mailed out, if I don't come to the shows at least I will be able to make sure the tickets get to someone who can use them.

Kym doesn't want to go on vacation in May because the timing is not ideal (just a little over a month before our wedding) so I probably would just come up for the shows and not stick around the area for vacation before or after...

If they announce shows in LA (or somewhere else near me down here), I'll get tickets to that show instead. I would rather spend the traveling to Seattle and BC at a time when we can both come, because they are beautiful places and would be a great destination for taking some time to get away and relax.

But, I hope to see them on this tour one way or the other...

Can not believe the seats that come up. I broke down and got the SM night( closing night of tour). had choice between 2nd row side or 3rd row ..I took 3rd row.

Right Behind YOu( ha Ha) Josh. Row A seat 23 or 19.. Do not remember which one I chose. I could of had row bb seat 30 Like you I rather have the ticket and not go then none at all. Clumsy will be bought later on though ..

They didn't send a notice that they had been printed -- you'll probably get them in the mail soon.

what is sad is that CLUMSY is completely sold out and only 1/2 tickets for SM are sold?

Really is CLumsy a better cd or people are more familar with that one. I personally rather see SM but that is me though.

I got a good deal from Aircanada on Flight. direct to Vancouver then connect to commuter plane to Victoria. I am excite dto go again> When are you getting in

SM is a much less known OLP record but is loved by more critics and fans. It's actually there worst selling album if i remember correctly. While, clumsy is there biggest selling album yet.

I could be wrong - but I think Gravity was the best selling. You are correct that SM is a fav but didn't sell well. Clumsy is definitely the most well known album, so even if it doesn't make sense to us why SM isn't going better - more people who are just average fans would likely go for Clumsy.

Gravity was the best in the US (Platinum). Clumsy was in Canada (Diamond).

actaully Clumsy and Gravity both sold 1 million copies in USA.

As far as Canada goes I think CLumsy was their biggest selling CD.

I agree that Clumsy is more POLPULAR with older fans. Many people grew up with that cd.. Spiritual Machines was a bit experimental and out there for people. Though some fans( myself included) think this is OLP's best work and love the cd. YOu would think more would go to that show since you get at least 3-4 CLumsy songs at Every OLP show.. Except for this last tour( Burn Burn) Can not really tell you last time any SM songs were done.. Maybe 02/03 I remember In Repair and Are You Sad being done. Got lucky to see Mafia. Even that is 7 years ago. When is the last time any of us saw CLumsy songs being done on tour(sarcasm)? Seriuolsy though I find it sad.. I keep thinking of that interview with Raine a while back where he said something along the lines that SM fans won't go to a CLUMSY show. I think he got it reversed. .
honestly though I think with the excpetion of the die hard fans not many people see the same band two nights staight.. They chose what cd they want to see most done live and go to that show.,
