So here's a debacle ...
Say your previous employer never took you off their payroll and you continue to get bi-weekly checks deposited directly into your checking account.
Is this considered bank error in said persons favor (i.e. Finders Keepers)?
Or is said person under some sort of legal obligation to inform his or her former employer about the situation and return the monies?

If you don't tell them they might ask for it all back when they find out. that would be not great.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

Said person could get into trouble for not reporting it and could be held legally accountable for said monies. Said person would then need to repay said monies. This person says said person should inform former employer.

Maybe I'll wait till they find out then defect to Canada with my winnings.
Depends how much I have saved up before I make a run for it. Then again it'll be a loss when I try and convert it to Canadian dollars.
I'll have to keep debating my options.
