Sentences & stories made of OLP song titles

Post by Kathy »

Hello all,

If you've done this before, I'm sorry

This works really well on some boards I've been to and I'm wondering if we can do it here. The goal is to make a sentence or two using as many OLP song names as possible... but it has to be logical, not random crap thrown together.

I am the first to admit that I'm bad at this game, but I'll throw out one to start....

Message on answering machine…
Hello Oskar? It’s 4am… Where are you? Is Anybody Home? I know you’re Somewhere Out There but I haven’t seen you since your Car Crash. I Hope you’re In Repair.

Anyone wanna play?

Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.

Julia, are you sad? If you believe superman's dead, all my friends hope a story about a girl will bring back the sun. Annie denied stealing babies right behind you. The birdman waited under zenith. Angels losing sleep somewhere out there sell my soul all for you. Our time is fading.

Holy crap, I think I can only find one word that's not from a song title - wow!

Haha, now watch me fail...

Annie, Hope you're Somewhere Out There... Julia is so Clumsy, Walking in Circles All For You. Wipe That Smile Off You Face, she'd never Let You Down but you Don't Stop handing her Automatic Flowers that won't do.

Haha, that sucked.

I don't think that sucked at all! I liked it. Geez... you're really hard on yourself.

This is the world on a string. Are you disappointed we destroyed it all? The city falls down so far the ground is sky. What about the consequences? Someone somewhere has to cry. I'm gonna wipe that smile off your face

I can’t see him but he’s stalking my thoughts. I’ve been stumbling down this long and winding road still they sit alone on the hill. Is it safe to be a man when you are tired and lonely? It eats you up and spits you out. It swallows you alive. These times are changing and it’s complicated. I know there is pain in side that truth but you just have to face it. So you feel that stain of dried up discussions, you’re not the only one to feel that way. You’re looking for the sun, you long for that light. I’m really not that different you just make me think so

Picture yourself lying awake at 4AM shaking like angels/losing/sleep if you believe vampires waited right behind you. Bring back the sun yourself. Whatever, save yourself potato girl!

It's true, lol. I guess I don't want to seem overly proud of myself so instead I do the opposite.
