That's funny. Have you talked to them? Some of us have. But that's already been stated. I just had to comment on it cos I love the ignorance.

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE when Americans make statements implying the US is the only country that matters. Makes me SO proud to be American.

gagh, i've been missing from the computer for 1 day and there are like 6 new pages on this thread debating about the leak..
personally i'm waiting until aug 30 for the release of the album because i've heard enough of the clips and i don't want to ruin every song there is when i get the album. although i've been tempted many times by people on msn,
heh.

Ithink if you actually read the paragraph above you would see that I wasn't implying that the US is the only country that matters and your reply demonstrates how a typical American would respond. Without actually reading lol. In fact, a lot i said has been misconstured on here. I just want to hear the album..I don't really car when because it's just a cd. I DONT like people saying "I have the album but you can't because it isn't supposed to be leaked for the band....my dog....jesus....etc."
As far as i'm concerned anything I said in this post is done and over but if everyone and their brother wants to beat a dead horse.....go for it.
I will thank you!

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf
Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...
Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...
So glad you could stay
Forever
He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand
You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..
So glad you could stay
Forever

I'm an American, and what a lot of us do is that if we don't like a band we will never like them, even though in reality we do. Let me explain. My friend who I'm trying to get to like Our Lady Peace he says they suck and what not (not true). So, I just let him listen to the songs without telling him the title or artist, and he says he likes it. I then tell him what song it is, and whose it by, and he doesn't like it anymore, because its a band who he didn't like at first. A lot of us Americans are like that. Also, A lot of us americans are spoiled.

Soooo... I got the real leak today. And as someone who you might know as an advocate of downloading the album early for the... let's call them the "Gravity reasons," I will sure be buying the album now. I don't think it's great, and by track 10 (where I am now), there aren't even any songs that I like nearly as much as three from the last album (despite it being a flub in my book, I still like All for You, Innocent, and Not Enough a whole lot). It does feel like there's been more thought put into this album, so as a whole it seems better. General problems I have with it though:
Lyrics are overly simplistic. There's nothing wrong with being direct, but it's basically like I've heard every line in most of the songs at least once somewhere else. Just not together.
Production sucks. Bob Rock for the lose. He suppresses a lot of the musical potential the album has. Let them go wild, Bob!
Things I liked:
Despite it being really, really straightforward, there are plenty of Our Lady Peace nuances abound. That helps anything sound better.
Raine doesn't sound as bored as he did on the last album. His voice even gets wacky from time to time like it did on the first four albums all the time. He does play it down a lot as well, which sucks, but... it's great to hear him go nuts on "Wipe That Smile Off Your Face" and "Circles." Plus, "Al Genina" is pretty cool and it's because of Raine. Yeah, I'm there now as I've been writing this.
The album has an overall good pacing to it. Nothing too long or too short.
Repeat listenings will help the songs stand out better and they'll all get their own identity as time goes on. Basically, the one true sore point is the production. But that's a futile argument.
Oh, and "Apology" is definitely > "Al Genina." Oh yeah.

No "Don't Stop" isn't the full version, it's a looped version (if you're talking about the leak off torrentspy)
But the quality is diferent of the clip of 2:07
