Squirtle has good distance attack and pretty good magic defense. His only weakness is lava but that only occurs in underworld territories which are NEVER used. So I think he is the strongest.

Weaknesses in the earth's crust have caused lava to spill out onto the earth, and many of the battle locations have been covered in lava. Squirtle is screwed.

squirtle's a water pokemon. its weakness is electricity, not fire. fire it's good against

This is where i would bust out my Articuno and rain death from above with a few well placed ice beams. Ergo, the lava would solidify and your razor leaf would continue to reak havok on all who stand in its way.
