Ok, so my best friend owns a restaurant. She gives me the recipe to my favorite cookie in the world. My mom's best friend also loves them, so she begs and begs for it. In a moment of blind stupidity, I give it to her. I thought the recipe was on the can, but itw as pie, not cookies. Ok well, I figured if two people have it won't be that big of a deal. It was dumb, I know. So then, my mom's best friend's daughter goes into the restaurant and acts like she is my best friend's...well, best friend. She TELLS her that I gave them the recipe. What kind of freaking IDIOT does that? So of course now my best friend is mad at me, and I am a jerk. Bad day. Ugh.

if she gave you a pie recipe, she was lying to you about the cookies and you should be the one calling her out.
