Never been there, but I'd rather see a great concert venue than more condos.

If it was something like affordable housing to help people, maybe. But there's enough places for rich folk to shack up already.

It not an amazing venue, nor is it irreplaceable.... but it has a lot of great memories, and it's a shame we're losing it.

Meh. I love it so much, though. Probably because I'm used to it. And all the memories *sigh*

I only was there for SUmmersault in 1998, but I know it has held alot of shows over the years. It is sad that is being turned into Condos. They were going to do that here in NYC with ROSELAND BALLROOM a few years ago. I don't know what happen cause it is still open for the time being. They were going to close it also. It should be a landmark. Now there are concerts there, but it was a ballroom in the 20's-60's where people would go during the wars, and to hear great music and dance. There is so much history there. I am glad it is still open cause it is one of my favorite venues in NYC. I always wished OLP would play there.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again
