no, i haven't called yet. i wanted to try and take care of it myself first, which is not looking like a good idea now.

Why do you think it's infected? Is it oozing stuff? It could just be irritated if you sleep on that side too much maybe.

well, when i got my rook, about 2 weeks ago, i also got my barbell replaced. when i got it replaced, it was feeling fine. and since i got the rook, i couldn't sleep on that side, so i had to sleep on my industrial side, and a couple of days later, i noticed some green crust and green discharge coming from the piercings. and when i apply pressure to it, it hurts.

I dug out my aftercare sheet and this is what it said:

How can I tell if I have an infection and what should I do?

The most obvious sign of infection is pus coming from the piercing. If the pus is white the infection is very minor, continue with the normal cleansing process. If the pus is yellow or green the infection is more serious and you should come in and see us.

So if it's green .. you should let them look at it :(

The funeral was sad...

I still don't feel like he's gone though. It's very weird. All my relatives are over right now, my cousin's watching me write this. I swear it won't actually sink in that he's dead until Christmas or something like that. It's a strange feeling. :uh:

It might sink earlier than that, unless you never saw him that often :( God I hate losing family members, or even just the thought of losing any.

I know how it is...but I'm keeping myself sane by listening to music and talking to Emily. :)

I'm bored as hell too. I'm going back and forth from the computer (where no one is on MSN, and the CM is rather "empty") to the TV where my sister is watching horribly cheesy reality shows. I need a life.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the extent of Josh's dancing skills.
