I got the virus. My ISP e-mailed me and told me that if I put my firewall on that my computer wouldn't shut down. I did that, and it seems to be working (although a bit slower) but I can't access the hub. It connects, but every search I do brings no results. Do I need to change a setting on the hub software to be able to use it with a firewall? Is it even possible to use it with a firewall? I can still use p2p programs like Kazaa, and I thought the hub worked in a similar way.

I think you might have to go to your Settings and to go to Connection and be in Passive mode...but I'm not completely sure...

so, if you don't have a validly licensed copy of windows xp, or any other windows for that matter, and you try to install the windows updates, what exactly happens?

We have a copied version of Widows XP and got the virus. My boyfriend was able to download the patch and now our computer works just fine.

Ok....so did you get the Windows patch from the site, or did you get it off Kazaa or something?

And HTF do you know if you have the virus? Her computer keeps shutting down in the middle of shit and just announces that this will be happening. I tried looking in the task manager to see if mblast was running...but I didn't see it.
