Not me.
Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!

alright.. bringing back a really old thread (not updated in over a year).. but it's funny how both myself and my girlfriend are just buying a lot of these cd's right now .. but that's probably because we both like to wait for cd's to drop in price before we buy them

some that I really like from '04

Better Than Ezra - Live At The House Of Blues New Orleans
Breaking Benjamin - We Are Not Alone
Jimmy Eat World - Futures
The Killers - Hot Fuss
Modest Mouse - Good News For People Who Love Bad News
Reliant K - Mmhmm

Snow Patrol - Final Straw (that would definitely be the best one that I have)

also, I'm waiting for her to burn me a copy of her Big D & The Kids Table - How It Goes cd (they only had one at the cd store, and I was already buying the new Snow Patrol album at the time)

The only cd on this list I bought in 2004 was Futures (and I got it for a Christmas present)

I was brave. I still like most of those albums except Velvet Revolver, and I don't think I've listened to that APC album since 2005 came around. I found this bit interesting:

Honorable mentions:

Arcade Fire - Funeral (I've only listened to it twice. The first time I didn't care for it, but I really liked it the second time. I would expect it to shoot up a number of spaces after a few more listens)

You bet your sweet grits it would shoot up a number of spaces, stud.

Wow, blast from the past thread. I would definitely put Joanna Newsom in my top five if I were to do it again. It would look something like this:

1. Animal Collective - Sung Tongs
2. Arcade Fire - Funeral
3. Xiu Xiu - Fabulous Muscles
4. Joanna Newsom - The Milk Eyed Mender
5. Mirah - C'mon Miracle

I like that top five.
