Carissa's Wierd

So I'm listening to this album called Songs About Leaving, by Carissa's Wierd (apparantly it's purposely spelt wrong), which was released in 2002. It's really.... weird. I mean, the music isn't really weird, it's sad and somber, but it's weird that I can't decide if I like this or not. Generally I like the instrumentation, and the girl's voice (don't know her name) is really quite pleasant, but I'm not a huge fan of the guy's voice. The interplay between the folky guitar's, the piano, and the violin is really nice and unique. The whole mood of this album seems really... I don't know. It's like, sad, but the kind of sad that makes you happy. Anyways, the point of this is to find out if anyone here has heard of, heard, or likes this band, as I'd like to hear more about them.
This is my story both humble and true,
Take it to pieces and mend it with glue.
