My favourite from MV is probably... Just a Phase. Ohhhh, that song = love.

Circles is a pretty under rated jewel from that record. I also love Aqueous Transmission.

I listened to Aqueous Transmission today. It's a very interesting, chill song.

I also really like Under My Umbrella (the chorus), but the verses are too quiet for my liking. Brandon's practically whispering.

I love everything about Under My Umbrella. I think the quiet verses really make an awesome contrast that makes the chorus sound that much more angry.

The chorus is definitely great. It gets in my head, even though I still don't know the words, so I just kind of make drawls that sound like something.

You guys should check out the Morning View outtake called Anything from the Monuments and Melodies compilation. There's some great stuff on the second disc that you won't catch on the main albums. Incubus is a great band though.
Talk, talk is cheap, puts me to sleep.

My list of 'toos':

Too many fedoras.
Too many pairs of tight black jeans.
Too many guys in a room. (Four is enough.)

Hmm... I like this. Music somewhat reminds me of Morning View.

EDIT- Official video:

And from what I've read, his solo album "The Wild Trapeze" drops July 6th.

I'm pretty excited. Hopefully this'll get the guys back into recording somehow lol.

EDIT:
Incubus has also officially started writing for their seventh studio album as of June 1st, 2010, according to their band manager
from Steve Rennie, the band's manager.

I'm excited for both.

I'm a bit of a big incubus fan, saw them years and years ago in Perth and it was amazing. Didn't know Brandon was doing his own thing, I quite liked Runaway Train.

did any of you ever buy the Look Alive DVD? Thoughts?

Samples of all the songs on The Wild Trapeze. Overall I like what I'm hearing.

Looks like Incubus' 7th album will be dropping sometime this year. Brandon said on Monday via Facebook, "Oh yeah, I think we just finished our album as well." Plus on incubusonline, which I'm assuming is credible since Brandon links it on his Facebook (although its not an official site for the band), it says the following from Steve Rennie, Incubus' manager:

"Well its finally happened. Album #6 is in the can. Or should I say in the envelope. I picked up my copy (Copy #7) of the record last night at Henson Studios. Up until last night I'd only heard individual songs as they were being worked on, never final mixes, and never in sequence. Last night I heard the whole album and all I can say is "WOW". Like previous records it is nothing like its predecessors. Quintessential Incubus, but like no Incubus record before it. Stay tuned folks the party is about to start. We can't wait for you to hear it. Cheers-Ren"
