Pilate

This is a band that I'm listening to a bit right now, to see if I'll get into them or not.

Their sound is like a mix of 1 part U2 and 2 parts Coldplay.

I saw their video for Into Your Hideout, and actually thought it was U2 at first. This guy's voice can sound strangely similar to Bono's at times. I downloaded some of their other stuff, and they've got a mellower sound, much like that of Coldplay.

From what I've heard so far, they're definately worth checking out.

P.S. This guy's got a kick-ass falsetto that Coldplay fans will relate to, and that OLP fans are currently missing.

And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.

They remind me a bit of Radiohead, as well. :)
The vocalist has a beautiful voice.

If it wasn't for the current state of shopping, I'd go buy their album.

I love Into Your Hideout and those clips from the site sound quite promising. I'll probably end up buying the CD. The vocalist sounds so much like Thom Yorke, it's sorta scary but that's not a bad thing and I think they're have a rather different sound than Radiohead. :)

Yes, because obviously anything even remotely in the same genre is just a rip off of the most popular band in that genre.

If anything they sound like The Bends era Radiohead but i wouldnt go so far as saying they are ripping them off.

Regardless Into your Hideout is one catchy song.

They are gonna be on much on sunday.

I've been home sick and have watched far too much TV.
Their video was played at least 4 times today. :freak:
I think the people at Mcuh like them.

I just downloaded Into Your Hideout and tis very good :D
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.
