I haven't listened to much of Placebo, but after hearing the song "Pure Mourning" it totally changed my musical style. This song started a revalation.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
shouldn't this thread have been made like 4 or 5 years ago?

Koufax didn't open for Placebo when I saw them a couple of months ago. It was the Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster who were pants

I thought pants was a good thing. Oh god i'm confused now.
I've only heard Pure Morning by them but I must say that song was stuck in my head for about 3 or 4 years, and I spent that whole time trying to remember what the damn thing was called (this was before I really knew much about the internet). I still remember the moment it came to me, in the car, on the way to South Carolina.
Such a weird episode of my life.
