Radiohead

I presume there are some Radiohead fans around here. If so, what is your favourite album? Mine is probably Kid A, with OK Computer running a close second.

LOVE Radiohead.

UNfortunatley, I don't like any of their new stuff...They're too techno-ish and mechanical now, and I don't like it. There's less real instruments being used, and more keyboard.

The new stuff is really good when you get into it. They're recording a new album now and have said that it will be much more like OK Computer than their recent offerings. Should be out some time this year.

Apparently so. Also, songs called Reckoner and Wicked Child, which have already been played live.

If you want to get a CD, then go for the "I Might Be Wrong" Live Recordings - its a pretty good cross-section of Kid A and Amnesiac. It sounds a bit more like OK Computer as well.

I love Creep from Pablo Honey . . . but nothing else off that disc really. Kid A just has a lot of good stuff together . . . you can listen to it all the way through.

I own two Radiohead CDs because my cousin made copies for me: Kid A and Amnesiac. I also have looked into many other songs by them and downloaded them. From what I've heard from each album, I think my favorite would be OK Computer, then Kid A. Overall Kid A is a pretty good album, but I've really fell in love with some of the songs from OK Computer (Karma Police, Paranoid Android.. I don't remember what else was on that). I haven't listened to it that much, but I don't like Amnesiac as much as I like the others, although there are a few good songs.
If I have the money, I hope to buy their new CD.. especially if it's supposed to sound like OK Computer

I have all four (plus I Might Be Wrong, but that's not a major release).

Amnesiac is a burned copy though. I'm tempted to give it away and buy the real thing.

OK Computer wasn't a choice for me, so I took The Bends because I am listening to High and Dry
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I would have to go with The Bends. With either Kid A or Amnesiac being 2nd place.

Could be that the polls are screwing up again.

This is a really old poll and was probably never fixed from when they did screw up. I didn't miss it out.
