The old thread was a little... well old.

I was getting up today and this band came on the radio, which I thought was super weird. I had no idea they were getting decent radio play now. That's awesome. They are really not so bad.

As a side note, this was on a rock station and they played our lady peace about 40 minutes earlier. The OLP song stood out really awkwardly because it was right between the Ramones and Qotsa. Crash Karma fit in really well with the other radio rock songs. hahaha.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I haven't heard them at all.

The rock radio station here is back to playing OLP all the time now that they announced this tour - it has really seemed to get people interested. Maybe Crash Karma needs to play on the Prairies!

I've listened to a few CK songs on their MySpace... Not too impressed, although the chorus to "Fight" is kind of catchy.

I have seen them live a few times now and met all the guys. Absolutely great band. Unbelievable live perfomance. Very tight and packed with engergy. Go to youtube to hear studio versions of the first single - Awake, as well as a great heavy song called "Fight" and an amazing ballad called "Lost"

I will say though, I like the covers of their respective bands that I've seen YouTube videos of. I was surprised at how good Edwin sounded singing TTP's Fire in the Head.

Mike's still using his Oli Goldsmith custom guitar.
How awsome is that?

They just played them on the radio...funny thing is I haven't had time to look up any songs and when it came on I thought "wow, that sounds like Edwin...wait, this must be Crash Karma!"

It will be interesting to see how this (90s) Canadian super group does.

I asked Mike on his facebook page any chance they will play Toronot during Canada Music Week. He wrote

"We will...I'll keep you posted."

Sweet. Hopefully be the Thursday night cause if it is the night of the OLP shows that would be a bummer..

Mike and Edwin performed an acoustic version of "Fight" today on CFOX in Vancouver. Pretty cool. Check the video here:
