Mine are
10) Weezer- The red album
A few really good songs, followed by a bunch of shit, It cracked the top ten because it was at least a better attempt then the last few cds.
9) Radiohead- In Rainbows
was initially released as a digital release in 2007, with the whole pay what you want idea, but officially released on disc on January 1st of 08. This cd packs some awesome shit
8) Coldplay- Viva la Vida
Besides stealing a riff from the great one, it is an additional solid cd by one of the most popular bands out today
7) The Raconteurs- Consolers of the Lonely
A follow up to their debut, although not as enjoyable, I think for me it feels more like a White Stripes cd, which is good.
6) Disturbed- Indestructible
Disturbed keep hammering out new shit, although not as mainstream popular as their last cd, this one seems a bit more mature, and definately some of their hardest material.
5) NIN- The Slip
Not to often do NIN cds slip under the radar, no pun intended, but thats exactly what this cd did. Really awesome material from them, might be their last for a while though.
4) Protest the Hero- Fortress
Good young Canadian band, not a huge fan of the genre, but these guys can pull it off. Guitar is fucking amazing, just like on their debut cd. Might even be better then their first
3) AC/DC - Black Ice
So here is the top three, really who would have guessed we would have music from these three legends. This cd is a decent addition to the AC/DC collection. The first single pretty much proves the point though that there really isn't much change in the AC/DC camp, but I guess thats why we love them.
2) Metallica- Death Magnetic
After the shit show which was St.Anger, Metallica come back and blow the ass off of Bob rock and his cock grip. They went back to their old roots, and compiled a cd that IMO is one of their best since, well around when I was born haha.
1) Guns N' Roses- Chinese Democracy
Potentially the most Over Hyped - Under rated cd ever created. I know that sounds weird but thats what I feel haha. It took 15 years, and 14 million dollars to make it, tons of different musicians/producers/engineers/studios/ect so what are we left with? some of the best music Axl has wrote that the majority of people will never hear. It is different from past material, but at the same time it takes past elements and incorporates them.
