Solo travesty? I suppose I should mosey on over to the OLP section, but why bother? I assume Raine is going solo. I predict bad bad things from that. Sooo sad. Soooooooooo sad.

I think if I had listened to any of Brand New before I saw them live, I never would have liked any of it. Deja Entendu just really doesn't suck you in just from the album. After I saw them live doing a fair amount from each album it really sucked me in. It's like they don't have one great album, they have a great discography.

you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

This is so fantastic. It really blew away my expectations.

And I'm sort of glad they did what they did with the demo's. Some songs are recongizible, others are totally new. Both sets of songs are excellent.
I just can't put it down.

i have aproximately 250% the number of posts that you do, and i agree completely with him. a wilhelm scream put out a cd last year called ruiner that is better than anything jesus lacey will ever dream of creating. your favorite weapon is the only brand new cd i ever remotely feel like ever listening to. they were sincere and having fun back then. they do indeed blow live. hot rod circuit fucking owned that tour top to bottom.

The point is, a man's first post should not be one in which you condemn someone else's musical tastes. As valid as they may be, no one will listen.
