Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I want the new comeback kid cd.

It has leaked.
and I want to download it.

Furthermore, Comeback Kid was supposed to come and tour here but now they are not and I suspect the DOUCHEBAG promoter screwed us out of a fantastic band. grr.

New ETID in 08? :O
New TFOT is also rumored.

ok, I am well aware that no one else on this board has any taste in music that is remotely like mine anymore, but I don't care. haha.

I'm so unbelievably excited about the new Children of Eve cd's thats going to come out. Children of Eve is this local band that I've just completly fallen in love with. They are phenominal and really is the reason I jumped into the local music scene.

And right now, looking at the cd's that have been coming out and what new music there has been, and the scene that I'm interested in. There is good music....but really nothing has come close to remotely inspiring me as much as hearing this one new demo-ed songs is right now.

There are bands who's cd's I will collect and learn all the words too, but there is a certain monotony to a lot of it... and there are bands that I used to listen to like OLP and Chantal and the new Raine stuff that is just unstimulating and really lackluster right now...

And basically I am so excited about this new stuff that I don't really care that some of my other favorite bands are getting albums out. They don't compare. :P

Also, this thread isn't supposed to be just me talking to myself about music. :P
Please post about other upcoming releases.

.... please?

haha I don't know. They are writing/recording it now. Willhelm has only been in the band for about a month so I don't imagine it will be coming out soon. However, when I saw them in december the band had already started writing new stuff then, so hopefully that will help.

Only 5 new cds??? :freak:

I got Kanye West's Graduation and Hot Hot Heat's Happiness Ltd. . Not that into rap but Kanye's got some really good stuff going on with his new album (and this is coming from someone who ended up hating "Jesus Walks").

As for HHH...there's more of the same but they've introduced some new interesting elements to their sound. Best track is "Outta Heart"...it takes the biggest risk by being the most un-HHH-like song ever.

Is only five an abnormally small number?
I've gotten 2. And one of them was Raine's 4-song disc. (The other was Mika  )

Five is an unusually small number! I usually buy roughly 20 records each year.

Yeah, I support downloading as much as the next person but if you don't get nice cover art, lyrics, and liner notes by downloading.
