*gasp*

I  Robert Plant!

But I guess I should know better than to ask people to critique my musical taste.

More gasp!

And I don't really mean you in particular, I just generally don't like to argue about music. People seem to be particulary stubborn in that area. hahah, plus, all the "new" music I hear lately is old. Not so much into the new stuff.

yeah, music arguments tend to be exceedingly tedious.

they're only good with people you share the same tastes with. then you can argue about meticulous crap like song arrangement and mixing and not feel like a pretentious shithead.

Exactly! Well, I did have this conversation with my English teacher about pop music, and whether it's respectable. He kept making the point that he owns a Milli Vanilli album. How can you not laugh at someone when they admit that?!

mgb - a few good songs, one great ep, but overall, not that great (mentioned him earlier)
radiohead - approved (mentioned earlier)
i mother earth - i feel nostalgic about them the way i feel notsalgic about olp, but still, disapprove
pilate - so boring, but that window single was catchy enough
