New Dashboard Confessional CD and Tour

Postby bovine » 5/5/2006, 2:49 pm

The CD is out June 27. I think it will be more like A Mark... than any of their other stuff based on the clip on http://www.dashboardconfessional.com . I think I prefered the earlier mostly-acoustic stuff, but I still thought the last album was good. I already bought my tickets for the Tweeter Center show on August 11. I think if you get tickets now during the presale, you'll save a few bucks on service based on what Ticket Master charges. Info is at the official site.

Brutus is an honorable man
It's just coincidence that oil men will wage war in an oil rich land
And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...

But Brutus is an honorable man...

Quick reply to topicI got tickets to the Toronto show. I'm excited, but skeptical too. I hope they haven't changed their sound too much.

I know what you mean. I've seen them once since A Mark... came out. They were still really good. Their new stuff definately has a new sound, and, while I don't like the new sound overall as much as the older sound, I have to admit, there are some really great songs on A Mark... Also, as far as the live shows, at least as of the last time I saw them, most of the old songs still had the same sound. Many of them were still played acoustic, but I think a few were made into electric songs. It was still a great show though.
