ok yea star wars needs sequels because its in essence all one movie.

and yes its about time there was another freakin Indiana Jones.... cause those movies just plain rule.

Blade II was good.

Bond movies are not sequels. It's a series of books, you know, Ian Fleming.

BUT lets take a look at the GOOD series/sequel movies that have come out!

Indiana Jones Trilogy
Beverly Hills Cop Trilogy
Godfather Trilogy
Star Wars Trilogy
Terminator 1/2
Manhunter/Silence Of The Lambs/ Hannibal
American Pie 1/2
Puppetmaster Series

sequels are just an easy way to make more money. you don't need to come up with a new idea, you already have the characters developed and all you have to do is write another little story. it's even easier if the first movie was a success, because then people will come watch the sequels, no matter what you write/make.

good sequels are exceptions (I agree with the ones above), usually the first movie is the best, because it's original and less predictable.

All sequels most likley do suck besides for Star Wars because they are amazing and cannot be matched. :mrgreen:

Sequels are getting better than what they used to be. It just depends, some still really suck, others are more enjoyable.

Disney will never stop!!! They will have Cinderella using a walker before they stop making sequels. Oh wait I am sorry about 30 years after a movie the characters are exactly the same. :lol:
