Firefox + the CM

Postby Axtech » 1/9/2005, 7:54 pm

Wondering a couple of things.

1. Just started using Firefox, and I've noticed that the buttons above the reply screen (B, i, u, quote, img, url, etc...) don't work like in IE. When I select the text that I want to put the tags around, and click the button, it just puts the first tag at the end of what I've highlighted.

For example, if I want this:

[ i]and the monkey press the button

I get this

and the monkey press the button

(and, since I have an open tag, it'll just throw the closing tag at the end of my post).

2. Also noticed that the spacing seems weird on some things. For example, the threads and forum pages all have a side scroll bar at the bottom (which only actually scrolls a negligable amount). Which doesn't make sense, since the board is flexable to different sized windows...

Anyone know why these things are like that, and/or if there's any way to fix 'em?

Thanks.

Well, I'm still wishing someone would tell me why Firefox won't show my background on LJ.

Actually there is no love or marriage just pagebabies.

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

I think the stupid scroll bar is at the bottom because you have a small monitor.
I use firefox and here there is no scroll bar but when I'm on a smaller monitor there is one.

Get over it. :P

Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire

Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I don't have a small resolution (or monitor, though the size of the actual montior doesn't mean anything).

For whatever reason, this thread doesn't have a scrollbar at the bottom. I wonder if it fixed itself overnight...? :freak:
