I agree with you completely...somehow when I heard that Story About a Girl was gonna be a song on the album, I knew it would be the last song. I still think it's gonna have a Car Crash kinda feel. Yes! Go me!! :P

Yeah, I agree the titles are interesting. I also think that 'Bring Back The Sun" is gonna rock. Don't know why, though, just a gut feeling I guess.

Peace... 8-)

Some of these names are similar or remind me of other OLP songs (it could be just me):

Made of Steel --> Made to Heal
Bring Back the Sun --> Everyone's A Junkie
All for You --> All My Friends

A Story of A Girl --> Another Song by a band called Nine Days.

it just seems like it will totally rock.
it could very well be the amazing rawkout piece you're all predicting, or it might even turn out to be something more along the lines of 4am. Either way....... hooo, i'm PSYCHED.

I can't remember, but is Bring Back the Sun the one that Duncan said they did on the first take or whatever? Because if it is, it's gonna be the best one on the album.

Yes. It's the super-secret superpower that OLP gives us!

Here's what you do. Listen to Spiritual Machines BACKWARDS. You heard me. BACKWARDS. SDRAWKCAB. And when you hear "Eht" come from Ray Kurzweil's mouth, you will see the future, mi amigo.

Seriously, though -- we're just guessing. And no matter if we're right or not, we'll still  OLP.

Actually... to respond to my own post... it would be cool if there was some kind of weird belief around an OLP album (maybe Gravity), like how Tommy by The Who had, what with the candle during title track = seeing your future or how The Wall (or was it Dark Side Of The Moon?) fit to The Wizard Of Oz deal.

Wouldn't it? 8-)

mmmmm...I can feel my psychic powers growing with the advent of the new album

I really can't judge the songs by just their names, which is why the pen masticating habit has recently been increasing in severity as I wait for June 18 :freak:

Watching The Wizard of Oz with The Dark Side of the Moon has got to be the coolest thing ever. I will never understand how they did that.

Not to mention how incredible that album is.

Me at the office, June 17th: :freak:

Jimmy: "Hey, Ray, you feeling okay?"

Me: "...Yeah, why?"

Jimmy: "You've been twitching every eighteen seconds. Is there some weird gravitational pull on one side of your face or something?"

Me: "... Gravity..." *twitch*

Simone!
Wait til Trodd finds out about it. He's already sick enough of Bellyflop Communist and the sanskirt Naveed all over his class. A new album will just increase it 10 fold.
