Raine Maidas high pitched voice.

Raine Maidas high pitched voice.

One thing I do miss from the bands music.....is Raine Maidas high wailing and high pitched voice he used to sing in.

Would anyone like to see him bring back this singing style on the next record? (2014??)

I think my initial reaction was that of not being surprised at someone's misfortune. I think after a while my interpretation changed to "situations aren't always what they seem." I wouldn't say my first thought was the lyrics are mean, though.

I read or heard some quotes from Raine about these lyrics pretty early on. Can't recall what I thought of them before that.

This post was about the lyrics to Clumsy, and now you've edited it to be about his falsetto. What gives? Trying to alter the meaning of the responses?

Well I thought it was a stupid topic to begin with anyway....

But what I really want to talk about is the direction of the next record, and how Raine might sing on it.

What a tool. Editing his original post. And if he listened to Raine, ever, he would have realized that he still does use falsetto...

Raine Maida doesn't sing in a high pitch like he used to. He used to go up and down, I mean thats obvious from listening to the first 4 record, but then with Bob Rock that all changed and has been since.

I have only heard him sing high once and that was on the Paper Moon song....and it sounded like he was just doing it for old time sake.

He needs to bring that singing style back because...I really don't want to hear another Our Lady Peace album that sounds like he is just going through the motions, he lacks enthusiasm for the band I think.
