I picked up one of the cameras. I figured it would be one of the most unique items. Only 2 of them. Wonder who got the other one?

Not bad at all. I want to listen with headphones on later today and be immersed in it a little more. Sounds like lots of layers of vocals and music, should make for a fun listen. Love the guitar tone in the solo at the end.

I ordered the vinyl. Was on the fence about maybe doing the vinyl + shirt combo, but the shirt design is to be based on the album artwork, and I don't think the artwork is really that great so...

I love the idea of the pledge music thing, just wish there had been a few more options in the $50 to $150 range.

looks like someone uploaded the high-quality version to youtube....

very nice, the more discernible layers of music definitely helps enhance the song...

i still think the first lyric sounds like "I Dream of a circumcise ", though .... lol....

I initially wasn't going to order anything as I tend to stream my music nowadays rather than anything else however the lure of getting my name in a OLP album was too great, so I relented.

Now I've got DMITW in full audio quality I can say it's rather enjoyable. Certainly the production side has been nailed, when you get to the chorus you really feel it kick in. And the outro is just splendid!

Only disappointing aspect is that both parts 1 and 2 only equal 8 songs. I have to say the songs I have heard so far - The Fix (Lanni produced!), DMITW and Hiding Place for Hearts are some of the best material for a long time. But it's still only 8 songs.

Hence the "EP" part of it, haha. Agreed, 8 songs in total is a little sad for a 5 year gap.

Link to a high quality DMITW if you haven't heard it.

https://youtu.be/4DQyL19FZOQ

That outro sounds absolutely amazing. Loving it.

Still no track list released for either EP eh? Anyone hear what the other two songs are besides "Drop Me in the Water" and "Hiding Place for Hearts"?

Even more so if they don't include The Fix.

Typing into Apple Music comes up with a title 'Somethingness - Single' which directs a page which links to the OLP artist section. It did this with DMITW so I think that's a song on the new EP.

It does come up with 'The Fix - Single' however that doesn't show any signs of OLP as it was a Nelly song and Hiding Place for Hearts does come up but again does not show OLP but an artist called Don Moen.

So make of that what you will.

Is there any sign that The Fix won't be included? On Facebook live streams previously Duncan said resolutely it would be on the new record.

They say a lot of things with good intentions that they mean at the time but never come into fruition...
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

Raine said here that the vinyl will have 8 songs so I'm assuming yes.

Wish there were more but it's better than nothing. Looking forward to hearing the rest because I'm digging DMITW.

I also saw a tweet where Raine said this song would be one of the tracks. Dedicated to our very own Locobone (Tom Duska)
