Dream Setlist: Urban Grind Edition

Postby faninor » 2/24/2012, 5:01 pm

It's about that time again -- while we're waiting for more album updates, let's hear your dream setlists for the new tour. Make two dream setlists if you want since they are going to be changing things up!

Remember that the "maybe confirmed" tracks for Curve include Heavyweight, If This Is It, As Fast As You Can, Window Seat, Find Our Way Home, The Wolf, Rabbits, and something called Mettle -- but anything can happen in your dream setlist!

They used to play 18 songs on average and during parts of the HIPT tour they frequently bumped it up to 19. My dream setlists will definitely have at least 19 songs in them.

5. If This Is It
6. Waited
7. Escape Artist
8. The Wolf

Kind of tough to figure out where I'd like what songs to go. I do know that I like a 5 song encore. That happened a few times on the 05/06 tours. I also know that I love Picture as an opener, and Superman's Dead as a main set closer.

Okay, I'm going with 20 songs, because I'm fresh off two Wilco shows, and they play like 3 hour, 30-35 song sets with 8 song encores. Not sure if OLP could live up to such a long and demanding performance night after night (very few bands could), but I can dream...

1. Happiness and the Fish
2. Big Dumb Rocket
3. Right Behind You
4. Blister
5. Apology
6. Everyone's a Junkie
7. Angels Losing Sleep
8. Sell My Soul
9. Dreamland
10. Bring Back the Sun
11. Stealing Babies
12. Heavyweight
13. Are You Sad
14. Car Crash
15. All My Friends
16. In Repair
-------------------------------------
17. Carnival
18. Annie
19. If This is It
20. The Wonderful Future
