From Chart Attack:

In a surprise announcement early this morning, Our Lady Peace drummer Jeremy Taggart sent us some of the greatest news via press release. It went as follows:

"Our Lady Peace has been venturing on this journey for seven studio albums and we are pleased to announce that we are continuing that journey with the release of our new album "Ashes". As of this morning the scheduled release date is Tuesday, September 21st, 2010. We've been writing music like crazy and we're rising from the "ashes" and beginning the recording process this June after our North American tour halts; Just the four of us in a room, like it's supposed to be. To our fans, we thank you.
Sincerely, Our Lady Peace"

With the statement they released a mock up of the album cover, which follows the theme of their previous album, Burn Burn.

I think "Ashes Ashes" would be a much better album title.

I say ASHES TO ASHES.. then again might hav eto clear it with BOWIE..

As for the solo record he has been working on it for awhile now.. Can't wait for that one to come out.. Now which will come out first? The next OLP CD or Raine solo cd..That is one busy guy now adays. :)

Haha, this is almost as good as announcing that Raine's falsetto is coming back full time or that Mike Turner will be rejoining the band after a "10 year hiatus."

Not completely at least, it was just beaten into submission in 2002.
