No, that's not my video. I wasn't the one confused but thanks for explaining anyways.

He did the EXACT same thing Saturday night, including the heroes bit. He just went up on the opposite side of the theatre. Oh Raine, you really do need to vary your gimmicks.

Haha, guess the Prairies are full of heroes!

Was there also a line about touring Canada and there is just something special about the Prairies - I think that was right before Carnival.

Oh, he did it right before Paper Moon..I think he blabbered on about how there's something special about the prairies, and the people in Halifax just don't get the song. He also said something about how when they drive across the prairies, and look out from the bus at night, there's that moon.

Ha, I do remember it was before Carnival on Friday, because after the special Prairies speech he started talking about the cabin where the song was written. At least it was changed up a little for the second night!

he's been talking about the moon over the prairie in almost every show on the tour, i think, as an introduction to paper moon.

Yeah, he has. He's also made reference to Neil Young's song Harvest Moon.
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

Yes. I was attempting to deal with not seeing it...but I couldn't do it, so I broke down and went to Winnipeg.

Worth it to see SM. Well...actually worth it solely to see All My Friends. I was worried about how that one would go (it's a favourite), but Raine impressed the crap out of me. He had no issues with those notes at all.

Laurel

If you read anyone's review or seen video you would of seen that Raine has been doing a great job on ALL MY FRIENDS.

I did not watch any other videos, nor did I read reviews. I wanted to go into the SM show completely fresh, with no prior exposure to how the songs were done live.

All My Friends was by far a top 2 song in the Spiritual Machines set for me.
